Have just returned from a fabulous Sunday lunch at this friendly Inn. We had relatives with us from Tunbridge Wells and this is always their preferred place to come when they visit us.The ambience of the place, the friendliness and efficiency of all staff from the management down, the excellent variety of the menu, food cooked to perfection. In our humble opinion we think this is the best Sunday lunch around! The place is always very busy and booking essential for the Sunday lunch, which tells you all you need to know! We will certainly be back and recommend the Thatched Inn to all.
Fine if you can only suck your food. Real melt in the mouth stuff, or should l say dissolve in the pan! The staff are as lovely as they can be, the landlord is rude and as bland as the food. On the up side the beer is well kept or changed quickly if off, but I'm sure as you can tell I'm not a fan of the food or the inn keeper. I do keep trying, only once a year now, but I'm disappointed every time.
