Very popular county pub. Great food, drink and atmosphere
nice to sit outside, lovely potato wedges and nibbles on the bar. What makes it a bit of let down is that the staff can be a little miserable. We were turned down for food when the restaurant (and outside) were way less than half full - the restaurant almost empty, because they were too busy. Maybe it was understaffed or just poorly managed but it didn't look like anywhere near enough people to be denied food completely and not just asked to wait (which we happily would have done).
