Wonderful independent cafe and coffee shop. Does breakfasts, lunches, coffee, cakes etc. Delicious food prepared and made on the premises, lovely staff. Very popular so booking can be a good idea. Does the best cheese scones I have ever eaten.

Tired and hungry after a very early start I stumbled upon this little haven of welcome. Clearly family run, with every care for the customer, the place was busy for 10.30 on a Tuesday morning, which is no surprise, what better place to chat with a friend over a coffee, or in my case have a rather late breakfast, all the food was home cooked and the cakes and scones looked delicious, there are comfy sofas for a chat with friends or tables for meals, I was made to feel very welcome which is always nice as travelling on ones own you can feel a bit isolated.
Visited here with friends on there bistro night, every Friday. It gets booked up fast. Great selection on there menu, tasty food with great service at a reasonable price. They do alot of vegan, gluten free food. Day menu looks good too. Decor lovely. Staff efficient and welcoming. So i will be back soon.
Lovely people, polite and helpful service, spotlessly clean. Sorry to say though the food was really bland. I had chicken stuffed with pesto, served with mozzarella and salad and my friend had frittata with red cabbage coleslaw and salad. Need to get some flavours into the food please - doesn't necessarily have to be spicy to be appealing!
