Always a pleasure to visit here, especially taking visitors or grandparents etc. There's lots to see in different departments as well as terrific variety of plants etc. There is a very interesting Heritage centre worth a look, after a visit to the restaurant, where the staff are great !! They cannot do enough for you. Took a group of elderly ladies there for a Christmas meal and we had great time. Wouldn't hesitate in giving five star rating. They deserve each star !!
An awesome place to visit. We spent a good couple of hours wondering around, choosing some new household plants. The wondering around the small gallery and heritage centre, where we brought a selection of local sources Sussex cheeses and some fudge.There was an added benefit of a fruit and veg stall out the front.So easy to spend a fair amount of money at this location.
I love this place. Great cafe. Great selection of things to buy, from plants to pet supplies to designers like Emma Bridgwater. The wonderfully esoteric Heritage Centre has a collection of vintage farm machinery and lawn mowers! There's a tiny playground which is suitable for toddlers, and a play station in the cafe which keeps older ones amused.
We've been here several times over the last 2 or 3 years. A great place to wander round. It has a restaurant and a caf. Good food in both. Both reasonably priced. We had lunch in the restaurant this afternoon. As ever, excellent food. The centre displays its goods well.
This is a great store! Even if you have no interest in gardening or gardens. The restaurant here is excellent. Huge scones, cooked breakfasts until 3pm, lovely buns and cakes and decent coffee. They have a great food shop with special local foods and unusual stuff, lots of art, jewellery, clothing, a vast array of plants and trees and fish and pond stuffs. Excellent!
